Dell XPS M1710 Nvidia Driver Windows 7 Blue Screen

I've been working on an M1710 running Windows 7 - I've read installing this driver fixes the blue screen issue caused by the official driver from Dell.

Scratching my head on this one but I still get a blue screen when I install this video driver. Works fine without the driver, anyone else experiencing this issue or know of a driver that may work better (if its the driver...)?

My name is Shrikanth and I work for the Social Media and Community Team at Dell. Did you uninstall the old driver and restart the system then download this driver or just reinstalled this one on the previous driver. Make sure you restart the system after uninstalling the driver. Also please run diagnostics http://dell.to/1q1LMMe and check for any hardware errors. If it still doesnt work try doing a system restore to a point where it was working fine http://dell.to/1h6Y6E2
