I just installed my SSD in IDE because RAID wasnt working. All loaded up find now i have both HDD and SSD working properly. Now when i put programs from my HDD from my old desktop onto my new desktop and try and open them, none of my saved data is there and some ask for product keys, which i dont have.
Is there a way i can change the file path from the SSD to the HDD as im guessing thats what it is?
Thanks

Right. These migration applications do not, cannot, discriminate. Except for a very few things, like what files are in your Libraries.
Other than that...it is the entire C partition, or the entire drive. You can't squeeze 2TB into a 256GB drive.

In your case, I would seriously recommend a clean install of the OS on your new SSD. Then your applications.
Then games, wherever they might fit. Some on the SSD...

You need to reinstall the applications.
Usually, you can choose what drive you want to install them on.

Music/Movies/Docs/etc., let them live on the HDD.

Right okay, thanks for that thought i was being abit dumb for a sec.
Im guessing i will just have to basically try and move everything across and redirect some programs, do it all manually.

What do you mean by 'move and redirect'?
I meant an actual reinstall of the applications, from the original setup routine.

OK.
Redirect of docs is easy. See this:
