Windows 8.1 will be better for gaming and the R9 290 is much faster than the GTX 960.

a 290 in an mitx case is... well.. no..

They do produce a LOT of heat.

Windows 7 or 8.1, doesn't really matter, since M$ will be offering upgrades to 10, for free, for the first year.

Hi everyone! Insane response to say I only posted like half an hour ago! I should have explained that the person I am building the PC for has said that he wants to take in on as hand luggage. Therefore I needed a case that was around 300 x 150 x 400mm?

From the looks of things I need to make some changes to the board and memory especially so I will look into it all again shortly
