Just replaced my old Gigabyte GA-H55M-D2H with an Asus P7P55D-E LX Motherboard. The old gigabyte had only Sata 2 Connectors. I had, about a month or so ago, changed all settings to AHCI mode, and fully optimized as much as possible (What i think is as much as possible anyway) the SSD which is a standard Samsung 840 SSD, the first in the 840 series.

Now iv replaced the board, iv noticed that it is going slow, and after running a test after changing motherboards, which the Asus actually has Sata 3 Connectors in which i was connecting the SSD to, it was going slower than the old Sata 2. If anyone could help me with this, would be great, I believe the Controller for the Sata 3 is Marvell. In the BIOS i set all AHCI modes and boot priorities etc on the new Motherboard. So im unsure why its going slower. Also, when its plugged into the Sata 3 ports, its showing in the BIOS, the SSD as IDE for some reason.

Thanks.

Heres the pic of before i replaced the motherboard, and after...

Edit: Sorry, this is the picture. The other one was the SATA 2 and SATA 3 before and after on the ASUS motherboard. This new picture is the Gigabyte Motherboards SATA 2 Speeds, compared to the ASUS SATA 3 Speeds
