Ever since I changed my motherboard, my wireless adapter and associated drivers have been a little weird. Recently, 2 copies of the adapter showed up in device manager, so i decided to uninstall everything related to them, applied the hotfix for this, and then removed the card entirely after neither of those fixed it. As of the moment, an unidentified Network Controller is showing up in the device manager, despite the fact that my wireless adapter is currently sitting on my desk. How do I fix this?

It may be the non-removable network adapter that's built-in to the motherboard -- and it's probably for a wired connection, not wireless.
