Is this Corsair CX series 750W PSU okay for my gaming PC?

I have heard about Corsair's various PSU series, such as the CX, AX, TX, and GS, and that each has its own special quality. For example, I have heard the CX is a general use PSU for basic desktop builds, and the GS is for gaming desktops with powerful components.

I currently own the CX series. Here are my specs:

CPU: Intel Core i7 4790 Haswell at 3.6 GHz
GPU: EVGA NVidia GTX 970
Mobo: Asus Z97-A ATX
Storage: Crucial MX100 512GB SSD, Western Digital 1TB Blue internal HDD
RAM: Corsair Vengeance 2x4GB DDR3 SDRAM
PSU: Corsair CX750M 750W
Case: Cooler Master HAF 922M-KKN3-GP

I have the desktop built, and it runs great after a month of having it. It runs GTA V at 60FPS on (mostly) max settings for example.
However, I have some coil whine coming from the GPU, and I am curious if it might be caused by my "low quality" PSU.
It has only been 1 month of my owning this build, and I want to make sure the PSU isn't causing some long term damage to the parts. Is this PSU okay, or should I get it swapped out for a higher quality unit?

It is possible that the unfiltered noise is causing your coils to sing. The problem with the CX is that the secondary capacitors just don't seem to filter well at all when they are warmed up to what I consider normal operating temperature for electronics 40-50C. It causes a lot of problems for graphics cards, but especially the power hungry Radeon R9s. I'd definitely swap it out for a higher quality unit as soon as you can for peace of mind.

So given my current build, what PSU would you recommend in terms of brand, model, and wattage?

+1 vote for the B2. It's truly a diamond in the rough.
