so i just got all the parts today for my first gaming pc build close to $400 because im on a budget so i dont have a graphics card. but i installed everything and screwed in the motherboard but left out a few screw in because they didnt give my enough. and i would say i left out at least 3 to 4 screws out of at least 10. but installed the $55 AMD, the $50 650W power supply to my $111 motherboard but didnt install the peripheral cable because i didnt see and connectors for it. and also had 2 4G ram sticks and a 1 tb hard drive. and when i turned it on the power button on the back of the power supply the motherboard power light came on, on the inside and when i hit the power button on the outside just the fans, and LED lights came on only when i held the power button but my power supply was clicking like it was having trouble starting up. Can someone please help?

Solution
You should post an actual list of your parts, if I had to make a first guess I've start with those "missing screws". Something could be grounding out.

Make sure everything is secure inside the computer (no loose parts, all cables are plugged in, etc.) Make sure you plugged in everything required for your parts to the power supply (I would go to youtube for this and look for a video using a similar motherboard to yours). And you're using an APU right? I don't how anything could happen with a monitor without a graphics card.
