can get a 6970 used like new for the same price as a mail in rebated 750 TI, but according to GPUBoss the 6970 is better, but older. what should i do, and why?

btw. my Mobo and processor are AMD, i don't think that really makes much of a difference though?...

i feel like i should also mention that i mainly play games like D3 and Dota 2, i'm currently using a GTX 260, i have a 500w thermaltake PSU, 12 gigs ram.

Power consumption isn't a deal breaker to me, but what i'm worried about is two things. How much longer will the 6970 be viable before it needs to be upgraded due to age. And Bridging two 6970's later down the road might be almost impossible being that the 6970 isn't being produced anymore, is Crossfire even worth it?

i think i would like to get at least 2 years out of a GPU before upgrading again, the next upgrade after this one will be in the $300-$500 range most likely.

Solution
Go for the 6970, It's significantly faster than the 750TI.

Only thing the Nvidia card going for it is the lower power consumption, wouldn't matter much anyway.
