Need help reinstalling Win 8 on laptop with OEM Product Key

I have a HP 15-f004wm Laptop and the hard drive completely died in it. I'm have installed a new SSD and acquired the product key that was embedded in the BIOS. I acquired it through both the command line and a key finder. My only issue now is that everyone knows the key will not activate a regular retail version win 8. So i'm stuck with no way to activate windows unless I find some kind of windows installation i guess made by HP or whatever. Please help me any way you can.

I'm not sure what you are asking, are you saying you don't have anything to install the OS with? Since you could download the .iso from Microsoft (Completely legal) and then input your old product key.

If your not familiar with this issue you can't use any type of iso with this install except an OEM one that was used with this computer. The key will not activate just any kind of win 8.

I've talked to them even though the computer is still under warranty they won't send anything unless you send in the hard drive and do a bunch of stuff.
