need help please anyone

recieved my graphics card its a sapphire dual x r9 270x OC editon i installed the graphic card in the pci slot. The gpu fan spins ect. When i try installing the driver with the cd i get this error atihdwb6.sys on a blue screen.
I also tried from the website same thing.

I even reinstalled fresh windows 7. And i tried on windows 8.1 same thing. Whats the problem?

Try this driver on Windows 8.1

Also my motherboard is a Asus m5a78lmt usb 3 and a cx600m power supply with 8gb corsair ram

Can you try it in another computer?

I have seen this before and it was a faulty graphics card.

Check your manual for the BIOS settings for selecting which video to use and set the primary as the PCI slot, it *might* be trying to use the onboard instead of the card, usually motherboards will select a card automatically, but some don't. Your manual can be found here, look at page 2-14-

Just changed it to pci and now get a blank screen with two beeps cant see anything?

Does 1 pci-e cable go in graphic card becoz i have 2. the cable comes directly from cx600m powersupply. 8pin to 6 pin

You should have to put in 2x 6pin PCI-E connectors in the 270x.

Done that now hdmi works over the graphic card. So if i install driver from website or cd it should be fine?
