Fix viruses keep programs

I want to fix a laptop that has so many viruses and adware that it's barely useable. How can I back up important programs like Rosetta stone (don't have key) and asus software so I reinstall Windows (i have product key for Windows

This is genuine Windows 7 home edition

Using software like Adwear, AVG, MSE, hijackthis, etc you'll need to remove them. If there are a ton I suggest rebooting into safe mode. Keep scanning over and over with different programs until it comes back all clean. And find something that scans for root kits.

Here is a list of very good and reliable security and cleaning tools:

CCleaner - removes junk and speeds up your pc
Clean Master - removes junk and speeds up your pc
Adw Cleaner- removes any adware from a pc
Malwarebytes Anti Malware - great malware detection tool, this will spot any infections and remove them
Spybot Search and Destroy - similar to Malwarebytes, but takes longer to scan
Glary Utilities - cleaning software and also comes with a virus scanner
Malwarebytes Anti Rootkit - removes rootkits and repairs damage
Kaspersky free scan - finds and removes threats and infections

Hope this helps. Remember to clean after a scan and for Malwarebytes scan twice to check if the virus/malware has gone.

I would go download some programs like Malwarebytes And AVG..also see what you can find suspicious in safe mode

You can use a program like Belarc or Produkey to get the program keys.

You can use malwarebytes to try to remove the virus but there is no way to backup programs.
(Now some programs allow you to backup all of their settings)
