Hi Everyone,
I am upgrading to a GTX 970 and I need an adequate power supply to go with it. I have had a few suggestions like XFX 550w and an Antec 520w but cannot seem to find those specific models in Australia. I would like some help finding a good and reliable 550w minimum power supply.
All help is much appreciated.

Consider using another supplier. That site has many good, very expensive ,PSUs of higher power than you need such as ANTEC HCG and Seasonic S12G,
some very modest quality PSUs like the Tier 3 Aurum FSP, and a bunch of cheaper PSUs that we would not recommend for a gaming system and some we would not recommend for a boat anchor. Here's our PSU recommendation list. http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/id-2547993/psu-tier-list.html

Some of the cheaper Antecs will do too, but they do not seem to be available.

I wasn't really looking forward to installing the power supply myself so I tried to find somewhere that would do it for me, for a small fee. Looks like it doesn't matter much anymore because I don't trust their PSU's. Thanks for the help.

I would not go that far. Their good PSUs are good (and expensive). They don't have much good in the lower wattage range.
