Does Gigabyte Windforce 970GTX work with the MSI's overlock Auto fan program?

Basically as title says. Wanted to know if anyone has experience using this card. I have the Core Clock set to +100, Memory Clock set to +250. And the Fan set to Auto, having it go to 80 percent fan speed at 65C to 100 percent fan speed at 70C. To test fans out it doesnt seem to get louder when I force it to go to 80 percent or so speed, but when playing witcher 3, the system seems to get a bit loud, hearing the fans, which is normal to me. Anyone got any advice?

latest GTX cards are compatible with MSI Afterburner. most likely when you play witcher 3 it goes 100% fan speed that's why you are hearing the fans. it really is THAT demanding on your graphics card. Try and set your fan speed to 100% using afterburner without playing and see if you here the same noise

Is likely, the fans seem quiet even when I set it to 100, may be the other system fans goin about. I know all 3 fans are working for sure. Thing is problem now is my system now turns itself off during the first griffon fight spite it was fine everywhere else in the prologue area. Gonna try and set the fan speeds to kick in quicker, its gotta be the card heating too quickly for the fans to spin faster to compensate. my old GTX 580 did that as well.

Did some tweaks. now its keeping to a max C of 66, averaging around 56-60C, fans kicking up to about 84 percent at most unless something in the game somehow manages to push it beyond 66C. But I would like to know how everyone else with this card does their OCing and Fan controls.
