I'm having a dilemma at the moment. Right now I'm looking to spend right around 400 bucks for a new gaming machine. My specs are currently:
i5 2300
8GB RAM
7870 GHZ EDITION
750W PSU
My mobo is a Lenovo exclusive that came with my PC when I bought it 5 years ago. Its a micro ATX, doesn't support more than one gfx card on 2.0 and it doesn't support overclocking. Regardless, the things that need to be replaced are the mono and the processor, and if I did that, I'd wanna get a gfx card. So my question is this: is it worth it to drop 400-600 dollars on upgrading everything I need to upgrade to max out performance or just join the Sony club? Ive always loved NHL and Madden, so it makes the decision that much harder.
