i've got Corsair Vengeance 2x2 GB DDR 3 (CMZ4GX3M2A1600C9) installed on my Mobo.. i plan to buy another 2x2 GB identical.. then total on my memory slot is 8 GB (2x2 GB + 2x2 GB) is that ok ?

add more ram for play the witcher 3..minimum ram on that game is 6 GB..

my specs : Amd FX 6300, HIS 7700 1 GB, RAM 4 GB ddr3 (2x2 GB)..

Because of variations in memory characteristics, even for memory with the same part number, the additional memory may or may not work properly with the existing memory. Also, using four memory modules puts strain on the system and might result in slight drop of available memory frequency.

It is recommended to use a 2 x 4 GB dual channel kit instead to replace the existing memory. The existing memory could be sold or kept as spare/back up.

Since you have the sticks, try them at 1600 9-9-9-24 and set DRAM voltage to 1.56 and set the CPU/NB voltage to 1.3 and give them a try
