Hi.The place where i live they give out wifi usernames and passwords for one person each.A user name can only be use with 1 device only.I have a smartphone and a laptop so i was wondering is there anyway i can receive wifi with my smartphone and turn my smartphone in to a wifi router.I search the web and i only found how to use the hotspot with 3g/4g network.I have 3g/4g but i don't want to waste it.

Yes you can do it, you can connect your phone with the wi-fi th and then you can make your device wi-fi hotspot (Tethering & portable hotspot) option available in setting, you can make your device a WI-FI and then you can connect your laptop with your device for internet connection. I usually do such things as I too have same thing at my workplace.
