DDR2 Memory Slot not working

I have a DDR dual 800 slot that doesn't work I think some of the pins are not intact properply?
I tried testing the slot one like twenty times and it doesn't work I hope someone will help me because I don't want to waste my other ram for nothing :(

If your computer is able to start try running a memory diagnostic.
If that fails you can try to reset your BIOS settings.

If you really think the pins might not be aligning properly, i would take a flashlight and inspect it closer. If you see any debris or clearly damaged pins then that would be your problem.
Do you have a hard time seating them?
