Good afternoon guys,

First of all i want to apologize for not knowing what categorie this question belongs to.

So because of the hype around Witcher III in the last few weeks i decided to play Witcher II on my PC since i am really interested in the game but my PC cannot handle Witcher III what so ever.

So I downloaded the game and installed it, after i started the game and played a few minutes my PC turned itself off and the Power LED of my PC kept on blinking. I need to unplug my PC and replug it to the Power supply to be able to boot it up again.

The first thing i thought is that my CPU is overheating, so I changed my heat sink and tried it again, but it did not change anything. So I installed some programms to monitor both my CPU temperatur and my GPU temperatur and tried to play it again so i can test how high those temps get before the shutdown. surprisingly neither my CPU nor my GPU are overheating (CPU keeping a steady 30-45°C, GPU staying around 60°C while sometimes going as low as 51° and sometimes as high as 72°C)

So my question is now: What is wrong with my PC and how can i fix that?

Thank you guys in advance!

Hardware: (what parts are really important for you to know?)
AMD Radeon HD 6800 Series
AMD FX-8120 Eight-Core Processor
Super-Flower SF650P14P 650W

I did not... GPU Temp, the programm i use for monitoring my GPU, doesnt even show that though. and Core Temp (the program i use to monitor my CPU) only shows TDP which is the maximum of power the CPU can use, right?

i had the same problem, is ANYTHING overclocked?? reset the OC to default ans try again, if it still resets your PSU might not be powerful enough to power the PC
