What will happen if two hard drive is on computer with OS on it

I have 500gb hard drive and i bought 1tb hard drive then i removed my 500gb and I installed windows 7 on the 1 TB and i am wondering if i you put two hard drive on the computer with both have OS ? and how to delete the OS because i want the 1tb to be my main OS

In the BIOS you set a boot priority. Which ever drive is first in the list with a valid boot sector (the OS) will get booted from. Set the priority properly, confirm it is correct, then format the other drive while in Windows (assuming you want to re-use the drive).
