Good computer for sims 2?

Hi I found my old sims 2 double deluxe game for PC I would like to play. I have a mac that I use for everything so I am just looking for a PC preferably desktop mainly just to run the game and have custom content. I am fine with refurbished since I don't want to spend a ton of money. Any suggestions? Please provide links!

If that's the only game you are interested in it would be much cheaper to just buy a copy of Sims 2 for Mac.

Edit: another option would be to install a Windows partition on your Mac. No need to buy a whole new computer for this.

You could probably run it on anything these days, sims 2 isn't exactly demanding. Chances are, it can probably run the sims 2. Just make sure it has windows 7.

you need a 800mhz cpu, a requirement even tablets can achieve.
And a 32mb video card.

So basically, when buying, look for those two requirements, pretty much anything on the market will exceed them.
