Hello there people,

I have recently had an issue with a GTX690 card in my machine, It was working jsut fine, though taking longer than expected to kick in on resets(would take ~20 seconds to start the bios screen) but was working for a couple of months.

One day it just decided to stop working at all. I have swapped it with my old GTX570 and the 570 boots up with no trouble. I got a friend to put the 690 in his machine and the 690 boots up in his machine but when I swap it back in to my machine it wont work.

Computer as it stands is

i5-2500K
8gb ram
Asus MoBo
1000W Corsair PSU

Whole rig is a couple of years old and I have just ordered in a new CPU/RAM/Mobo but this issue is annoying me.

I have tried running stress tests on all the components but nothing comes up with an error when the 570 is in the machine

Im at work atm so cant remember the exact specs but can put them up in a couple of hours.

Im just wondering what else I could be testing on the unit to try and work out where the error is coming from.

Also was wondering if its worth keeping my 690 or changing up to a newer card, its still high up on the charts in the graphics lists but never gets a mention in the commentry.
