Hello Friends Im new to Tomshardware
My specs are
i5 3570k,GTX 660,Gigabyte b75 d3h , corsair vs450
my problem is that when i play games my pc shut down and the restarts automatically it occurs only while playing games not even while stress testing the gpu.I've checked all the threads related to this but still cannot find the solution to my problem.I've already tried the following things
1.CPU testing-temps are normal
2.Memtest-normal
3.GPU stress testing- furmark,Min temp-43 max-86 for 1 hour
4.Swapping my gpu with my friends pc it works normal(his psu is vs 550)
5.HW monitor- 12 v readings
without furmark or games - min 11.45 max-11.74
while using furmark and games- min 11.09 max 11.32 (it shut down just after a second or two when it reaches 11.09).
pls reply asap im having this problem since last 2 months

Solution
Sounds like your PSU is going bad, Check and make sure your PCIe cables are connected properly (if any).
Borrow a PSU and swap it out to see if the problem stops.

By saying "Memtest-normal" do you mean that there is no problem with the RAM? The only thing I would think of is that you are shoving more food into your RAM's mouth than it can eat and it just goes into a sugar coma.

It is either heat, power, or you are overclocking too high. CPUs degrade overtime so a past overclocking rate may now be causing problems. Try removing a little bit of it.

If you're talking about the Corsair CX600M, then most people will tell you to avoid that line of PSU as they're bad.
A lot of people seem to have problems with them. I've had a CX600M for about a year and have never had any issues with it.
Just look up some reviews ahead of time before deciding on any PSU.

@joshuaMartin I ordered the corsair CS 650m model
Im not planning to do sli in the future just going to add a single gtx 970
And the better psu like from xfx and seasonic are not easily available here in India and cooler master ones with modular cable are very expensive. So i didnt have that many choices to choose from.
