Hi, I am new to this site but, I have been around computers since the Apple IIe's. I am upgrading my wife's pc. It has a Gigabyte GA-78LMT-S2 motherboard and an AMD Phenom II X6 1090T cpu. I am upgrading the power supply to a Thermaltake TR2 500 watt psu and the video card to a Diamond Radeon R7 250 with 1gb DDR5 and the ram to 2x8,16gb 1333mhz, pc3-10600. The motherboard has a 4pin 12volt ATX connector. The Thermaltake has an 8pin connector for the motherboard. My question is do they make a 4pin male molex to 4 pin ATX 12volt adapter. The power supply has a 4pin female molex connector that I would like to connect this possible adapter to or would the psu's 8pin connector work on this motherboard and which of the 8pins on this connector is the correct way to connect it to the motherboard? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks again.

Sincerely,

Look closely at the 8 pin CPU power cable's connector. You'll see that it is actually 2 x 4pin connectors that separate.
