Can I use a 4 pin fan splitter on 3 pin chasis fan header

So i was wondering can I use a 4 pin fan splitter with 3 pin chasis fan header and the other question is with 3 fans on the connector will the fans run loud and full blast?

yes you can and it depends, some boards can do voltage control through the 3 pin headers, you can buy fan controller too and just plug 3 pin fans into that to control the speed and noise
