How to disable onboard graphics in UEFI mode

I want to know how to disable my Intel HD 2500 graphics in UEFI mode and switch to my GTX 570 Classified which is not being detected by my computer.

If you've installed the graphics card and it's not being detected at all, you might have an issue.

What power supply have you got? Have you made sure it's plugged in? Sounds silly but even the most experienced builders sometimes forget one cable. You need a high quality 600W PSU with at least two 6-pin connectors.

GTX 570 models:

No motherboard listed. Usually all you need to do is plug the video card in.

GTX 570 Classified
Minimum of a 600 Watt power supply
(Minimum recommended power supply with +12 Volt current rating of 38 amps)
An available (2) 6 pin PCI-E power connectors
