Hi everyone. My laptop is running Windows Vista. It has been freezing quite a bit over the last 48 hrs and I have tried a system restore a couple of times but each time, I get a 0x0000022 message and it says an antivirus software is running in the background that is preventing the system restore from working fully. I am extremely cautious about turning off the AVAST anitvirus and don't trust this advice. Any other "repair" that I have found so far has always ignored my Product Key and won't allow the repair unless I purchase a new product key. I am very frustrated by this and just want a simple fix - does a legitimate thing exist?
