Hi guys, I'm currently searching for a new GPU for my desktop, but I'm unsure what my limit should be. Here are my specs:
---HP Pavilion a6750t
---3 GB DDR2 RAM (planning to upgrade to 6 or 8)
---Nvidia Geforce 9300 GE
---300 W power supply
---In case it matters, I had the 320 GB drive, but have also added an old 120 GB drive in my expansion bay. I disconnected the optical drive to use the second hard drive instead.
given my lower specs and especially the 300 W power supply, what is probably the best GPU for me to upgrade to? I'm not looking for max setting games since it's probably not possible for my dated system, just something to make (somewhat modern) games playable with a quality I can stand- while also avoiding starting a fire or something I tried playing Skyrim and couldn't keep up from how bad the jumping was in the game quality Thanks so much to anybody who can help!
