So, after a whole afternoon of searching and reading and pulling pieces out of my pc, I decided to post a thread here. First off, here is my system:
Corsair CX 500
GA H77 DS3H
i7 3770
16 Gbs ram (corsair)
HIS hd7970

So, I decided to upgrade my vga to a gtx 970. Usual stuff happens: plug in, didn't boot, plug the old one in, didn't boot either. So right now I have tried to remove the battery to reset, plug in my on-board vga, remove everything except the cpu and its fan. When turning on, it didn't give the beeps but fans still spin for a while then reset, so I suspect it's the mainboard. The PSU worked just fine before I shut down and change the graphic card. Hope you guys can help me out out.
