Hi,

So I woke up one day and found out that my second monitor is not working, did some troubleshooting and found out my desktop now uses the Intel HD Graphics 4000 as the display adapter, while originally it was using my AMD Radeon Card.

With physical inspection, the card is connected properly (The onboard fan is spinning) and I've tried searching for the drivers for my card. Upon searching (at AMD website) it directs me to install the Catalyst Control Center in order to update my drivers but I have the CCC already installed.

Any tips would be appreciated :)

Some specs:

Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit
AMD Radeon HD 7000 series

If your PC has automatically switched back to the integrated GPU and Windows isn't detecting the AMD one, there's a good chance that the AMD one is faulty and needs replacing. If it's still covered by the manufacturer's warranty, contact them to have it fixed or exchanged.

However, before doing that, there is an outside chance that it may just need re-seating in the slot to fix a bad connection between the slot contacts & the edge-connector., So remove it then push it back firmly in to the slot and screw down the backplate.
