I've used that motherbaord before, and i managed to get my 8350 to 4.8ghz at nice temperatures ... it's cheap and the worse in that range now, compared to a couple years ago.

That cooler isn't the best ... but could allow you to overclock from 3.5ghz to 4-4.3ghz max seeming as the board is not so good anymore.

It is an 'ok' motherboard, nothing to thrive about.
z97 used to be awesome but now for amd they are thermal nightmares D;
A 990FX would be a good board to overclock now.
if you can afford it:
great for overclocking. http://www.scan.co.uk/products/asus-sabertooth-amd-990fx-sam3plus-ddr3-pcie-20-(x16)-quad-sli-quad-crossfirex-atx
That was out of your budget it seems so i would go for something like this in your budget:
http://www.scan.co.uk/products/msi-990fxa-gd65-amd-990fx-sam3plus-ddr3-pcie-20-(x16)-2-way-sli-2-way-crossfirex-atx ... but msi has poor quality check.

hope that helps.
