Hello everyone,
I'm currently trying to figure out a good build for my new computer, which should not be more than 1000€.
So far I have come up with the following components:

XML:
CPU: Intel Core i5-4460 (FC-LGA4, "Haswell")
MAINBOARD: GIGABYTE GA-H97-HD3
GRAPHICS: MSI GeForce GTX 960 Gaming 2G
RAM: G.Skill Ares DIMM 8 GB DDR3-1600 Kit (F3-1600C9D-8GAO)
CPU COOLER: Alpenfohn Himalaya 2
CASE: Nanoxia Deep Silence 1 Rev.B
POWER: be quiet! System Power 7 500W
HDD: WD Red 1 TB (WD10EFRX, SATA 600)
DVD DRIVE: LG GH-24NS

That the mainboard is not SLI-compatible is not a problem for me, but I really don't know how to check if all the components are really compatible to each other, can you help me with that?

Best regards

Solution
All the components are compatible. But unless you need a business-oriented HDD, you may want to consider the slightly less expensive Blue line instead of the Red line.
And if you are a gamer, the 4GB version of the GTX 960 is out now and will be slightly preferable to the 2GB version.

Thank you for answering! I chose the Red line mostly because of the noise aspect (it's incredible silent), and also because I thought it is more durable than the Blue one. Nothing worse than a failing hard disk...
I will check out the 4 GB GTX 960 version for sure, thanks! I do play some games occasionally, although I'm not a hardcore gamer (anymore).
