I have a HP Envy 5532 wireless printer which will not print anything, even test and calibration pages. The message provided when it fails to print is "Cannot print. Visit www.hpinstantink.com for information." But when I follow that link no help is provided, it just seems to be a page displaying the features of their instant ink service (Which I am already subscribed to).

I have searched online for solutions to this problem and one of which I tried was resetting to factory defaults and re-installing the web services. However, this didn't work as to set up the web services again you need to print an activation code - which I am obviously unable to do due to this problem.

I have checked most obvious things, such as the ink levels, and everything seems fine. The ink cartridges are full and the printer is connected to my wifi. Am I missing something obvious and silly?

I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this but any help would be greatly appreciated as I urgently need to print something for my son. Thanks!

have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling the drivers on your system?

from what I remember the e-print is a service with which you can sent a print job to the printer via email while not at home. This should have nothing to do with not being able to print via the wifi connection.
