Specs:

INTEL PENTIUM G3220
ASUS B85M-G
KINGSTON 2×4GB DDR3 1333MHz
SAPPHIRE DUAL-X R9 270 2GB DDR5 256BIT
WESTERN 1TB BLUE

the PSU is this:

ANTEC VP450

I've heard that it's quite a decent PSU for the price. Other choices are:

CORSAIR VS450
HEC COUGAR SL-500

So, can this PSU handle.the system just fine? I've read on the Sapphire site that the recommended PSU is 500w, so am I in danger with the ANTEC VP450?

Oh yes i apologize i read it wrong the whole system consumed 254watts at load i though it had a 6pin and 8pin.

Here is a good article on the power consumption of the 270: http://www.guru3d.com/articles-pages/amd-radeon-r9-270-review,8.html

Archaic - no mate fsp & cwt are generally on a par.
Just out of those 2 models the corsair vs is the better unit.
The antec has no opc circuitry & a crappy 360w 12v rail - that's a jumped up 400w max IMO.
I'm surprised antec put their name to it in all honesty
