Hello, i'm new here, i would like to ask you some questions!

My "Future" Build:

- I5 4590
- GTX 970 4G G1 GAMING GIGABYTE
- Z97-X-SLI GIGABYTE
- EVGA 750W B2
- THERMALTAKE v71
- 2x4GB RAM Kingston Blue Fury
- WD 1TB BLUE

My goal is play games like BF4, CSGO, The Wicther, GTA V, and upcoming titles, at 1080p@60fps High-Ultra, for a few years.

I have in mind an SLI in future, tha's why i choose that MOBO and Power Supply.
Do you think i will need to have an SLI to still get 1080p@60 fps HIGH-ULTRA within next years?

Also if i only use PC to gaming will i need aftermarket cooler?

Solution
In a year the GTX 970 will still be a great graphics card handling games well at good settings, and if you aren't going to run SLI you don't need a 750w psu, a 500w or 600w would do but if you are planning to upgrade in the future and have the money I would get it anyway. You also if you aren't going to run SLI you can also get a cheaper mobo but that's up to you really.

Also the stock cooler isn't too loud and upgrading to an after market cooler won't make much of a difference.

It depends mainly on how fast games will advance in the future and how much more demanding they will become. I would recommend staying with just a single 970 at the moment as it is a beast of a card and will max out almost any game and will continue to for the coming couple years, but if you have the money you could also buy a second 970 to future proof your build even more.

Also you don't need an after market cpu cooler as your processor cannot be overclocked and an after market cpu will not give you any improvements as the stock cooler will keep it cool enough.

Well, the thing is i will glady play with one GTX 970 for now, but in a year, will that still be good?
And if i don't SLI i also don't need this motherboard, neither this power supply? Right?

Also, people told it get incredible loud the stock cooler, true?
