So I built my own pc about a year ago and I was on a very strict $600-700 budget at the time so my build included a lot of setlling to fit into my price range. I now want to upgrade my current graphics card for the GTX 970 (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814127841) and wanted to know If I need to upgrade anything else in my current build to be able to handle the new card.

My current build: http://pcpartpicker.com/user/Vexers/saved/vzYRsY

Also quickly, on the newegg page for the MSI GTX 970, there's the normal one and then there's the "LE" edition that's a little cheaper and comes with a pretty good offer currently of 2 games, is there a big difference between the normal and "LE" version?

The LE version isn't factory overclock. Since you get the games with either card it is probably worth the extra $5 to get the non LE version. Everything else looks good although your psu could be upgraded to a higher quality unit, but it isn't required.

What would you recommend I upgrade my psu and motherboard to, maybe a link (not very familiar with the names of everything)

You don't need a new PSU - the CX 600 has plenty of spare headroom.

Regarding what octavecode said - disregard it - the 6300 is capable of running a 970 if you're using a 60htz screen.

Your board is in all honesty poor quality & a better board & aftermarket cooler with a little overclock would improve max fps but not to the point of a $120 extra expenditure.

Don't change anything just get the card and end enjoy it. Next upgrade is CPU + motherboard your PSU is fine.
And yes the FX 6300 is capable of running a gtx 970 but not to its full potential, this is why i suggested a future upgrade.
