Odd also did you check that the fan of your card is working, try booting in safe mode if you can or use another monitor, tv or if you have a monitor and a tv try to check if the signal is going to any other monitor or tv you have on your system

If the fan in your card is working i think it might be a resolution problem, hence why nothing is showing on your monitor, that happens if you didn't set your resolution to a low one and your pc didn't auto adjust can you try in another tv or monitor, you should try that before returning the card also if there is any way you can get video try to get to safe mode to fix things

Sorry but you don't get it when you first press the power button you see your motherboard logo or American megatrends logo(boot logo) then you see windows logo and then welcome and all that right?
but its not even displaying the boot logo just blank only the monitor switch blinks

with the resolution problems you don't get any video at all not even bios logo or whatever that is why i think it might be resolution could be too high or too low resolution i have had that happening with my pc a lot and it was working fine its possible to fix but its a pain the easiest way to do is to try different monitors till you can get one that can display something

np man you really had bad luck then in my case i had that a lot i mean the problem with the resolution not matching or being incompatible with the monitor, also i forgot to tell ya to try with another video card to discard it the fastest lol oh well anyways glad you fixed your problem
