Corsair CX750M 750W ATX 80+ Bronze PC Power Supply

Hi guys!

I bought this Corsair CX750M 750W ATX 80+ Bronze PC Power Supply and at first when i put it in i heard a high pitched noise coming from inside the machine and it wasn't until i did a bit of research that i realised that it is this power suply that i have bought. i am thinking of taking it back and getting a different one and was wondering if this noise is only on the 750 model, what if i got the next model down the 600M or 500M? will this happen with them?

I only got the 750 because it was the same price as the 600M, i don't do much gaming, just video burning. I have a 8 core amd FX 8320 processor with 16gb ram so dont think i need anything major oh and the graphics card is Nvidia GeForce 210

Corsair cx power supplies aren't the best many people complain about issues like this on all the cx psu's i would reccomend this xfx unit built by seasonic its quite a bit better in terms of quality.

My only problem might be is the place i bought it from might not give me a cash refund so if im stuck and have to buy one from them which one would you recomend from here

Thanks ImDaBaron i'll see what i can sort out and if they will let me order it i will go for that one, i did see that one but was hoping not to have to wait for delivery but i guess if im gunna spend money on a not so cheep one then i may as well wait for it

Well we have a couple of good options here. The xfx 550 ts on the first page like the guy above said would be my recommendation as well, it should be good for any single graphics card rig should you want to upgrade your gpu in the future.
