to properly mount the Hyper 212 evo you should mount it with the fan on the ram side pushing air through the cooler towards the rear of the case. IF you try to mount it blowing the air up it "will hit" the VRM heatsink and ram. Even with the Hyper 212 mounted properly you may run into issue with tall ram heatsinks preventing you from using the 1st ram slot. If your ram is the standard height with the basic heatsinks all you may have to to is raise the fan about 2-3mm which is easy to achieve with the way the fans mount.
Will it work on that board? YES it will. Do you need to mount it vertically? No, if you do you will have more issues. Once mounted will it interfere with the first ram slot? Only if you use ram with tall heat sinks.
