My current Inspiron laptop has an AMD A8 5545M APU with Radeon HD Graphics clocking in at 1.70 GHz. The GPU portion runs at 450-554 MHz (with turbo).
Now my Laptop is great, it's freaking amazing, but the graphics card seemed to be kinda..downgraded. And I was thinking about replacing the APU. I plan on using the AMD 10-5757M APU. It clocks in at 4 cores and 2.5 GHz, and the GPU portion is 2500 - 3500 MHz.
I would just like to know if this is possible, and if you could give me a link to the CPU not in a prebuilt laptop.

I doubt it's possible for you to do. Replacing laptop CPU's take a massive amount of technical knowledge, and that's assuming the manufacturer didn't solder the chip into place. MAYBE you might find a shop to do it, but it'd be a risky thing to try and problem take a good deal of money.

Also, your battery would most likely be adversely affected, since the chip would draw in more power than before, which means shorter battery life, and a possibility of burnout.

That Chip is soldered in and non replaceable, here is a motherboard that uses it although it is not the same board you have.

That was just to display that the CPU is not Replaceable. If you can give me the exact model number, I can see if I can find a Motherboard with a better APU that will fit the unit but It will cost you in a range of $90 to $220 for a board replacement depending on the model.
