Difference between socket LGA2011-3 and LGA2011? can cpu LGA2011 be used for board socket LGA2011-3?

I have a GIGABYTE GA-X99-GAMING 5 Intel X99 (Socket 2011-3) Motherboard.
The cpu i purchased is Intel Core i7-3820 LGA 2011 Processor.
you see that my motherboard socket has (-3) but cpu doesn't have 2011 doesn't have (-3) number at end.
does the cpu with support of socket LGA 2011Processor will work on motherboard X99 (Socket 2011-3) ?

LGA2011 and LGA2011-3 are completely incompatible.

You'll need either a new board or a new CPU.
