Is this how to migrate windows 7 to a new hdd?

Hello so i am currently using a 1tb hdd thats using sata cables and is kinda dying, thus i bought a new 2tb seagate barracuda hdd. After some googling i found this article:

Is this a correct/suitable method that will work?

Mostly.
Just be sure you have also selected the small System Reserved partition to clone over.

It's pretty easy going from a smaller drive to a larger drive. Just follow the prompts in the Macrium software.

You can reinstall windows by using the old drive,check this out

Ok thanks, and after i finish cloning to the new hdd will the new hdd then have every single thing the same as the previous hdd like the same settings for all the programs and same windows settings etc? or would there be some differences? Thanks

If it works, yes. It will be exactly the same, just on a different drive.
