remove all data except OS from c to open partition

How do I retain the win 7 os in c and move all other data to an open partition on a 1 tb drive in prep to make a 250 ssd the boot and primary new c.

Data - copy & paste then delete the originals when you are positive they copied correctly.

Programs - some items like Steam and Origin games can be be moved and then when you reinstall Steam/origin you simply point them to the new games folder. Most other programs need to be uninstalled and then reinstalled.

Your first priority,though, is to make a backup before you go messing with your drive(s).
