m5a99fx pro r2.0 / r9 290 tri-x oc (not oc) / 8320 (not oc) / h80i cooling./ 850 G2 EVGA PSU / 8gb ven blue ram

Computer has been fine for over a year. Shut down last night no problems, just fine..
Turned on my PC this morning and saw a error of cpu fan and then it shut down after 20-30 seconds. Googled the problem and made sure everything was still connected. Tried to go into the BIOS to change the fan speed as suggested but every time I hit f1 it would shut down. So at this point I tried to reset the CMOS which the battery is under the GPU. I took the GPU out carefully, static wrist strap on, touched nothing but the plastics. Snapped the battery out and took apart the cooler, cleaned it, new paste and put it all back together, and resat the ram. Made sure all the screws were secure and plugs connected still in the back. When I tried to turn it on this time the GPU was not reading. The fans turn on as normal but the monitor says "No signal detected." Tried HDMI instead, which has worked before and didn't. Nothing smelt fried. Every fan in the computer spins. The 3 on the GPU, 2 on the rad. Top exhaust and 2 intake fans....

Any other suggestions?? Seems like my troubleshooting went backwards instead of forward :(

My first thought is GPU went out.... Then thought the mobo could be bad.

Thanks for reading!!

Possible. It has had over 300 hrs of usage for sure. 200+ gaming. I think i need to edit my title lean more toward the GPU error because im not getting a monitor connection anymore. I did try the OPT CPU can port also.
