I have a few different issues now with windows 8.1,so i have decided i need to reinstall windows but i have like 500GB of stuff i want to keep in the same way it is now, does anybody know how to do this and if it is possible.
Any potential procedure whereby you 'save' your current applications and data, while reinstalling the OS...is a possible fail point.
Prepare for it to not work.
And if you have prepared properly...just do a full reinstall, and have no worries.
For whatever reason, your current OS install is failing. Trying to 'reset' may simply carry the problem over to the new install.
If it the problem is serious enough, prepare, wipe, and reinstall.

Not sure what your looking for. Is this 500GB of media? or is it programs?. If you hit Win+q and search recovery. You should see recovery options. Look at the options there and let me know if that's what your looking for.

Most of my data is games witch i dont want to download again from steam origin and Uplay
Sorry only thing I can think to do is to backup the files to another PC. Steam has a backup tool, and I believe you can just drag and drop the origin games, uplay I don't know.
