Hello! This is my first post after lurking for a while haha
I just tried to install 2x 4GB 1600MHz 1.35V Crucial Ballistix RAM sticks to replace 2x 2GB 1330MHz 1.5V Samsung sticks for my ASUS M4A78LT-M LE motherboard system. However, the motherboard gave me a long beep and 2 short beeps continuously and did not boot into anything.
So I went back to the old RAM and although there are no beeps, the computer does not boot. I have tried resetting BIOS via battery, tried every RAM stick on its own in both the RAM slots but nothing works and I am running out of ideas.
I read somewhere that the beep code is to do with video memory or something so I tried removing that as well - didn't work.
Please help!
