Whats up guys, I currently have a mid level gaming pc but its getting on in years. Rather than just upgrade components, I'm more of a fresh start kinda guy. My goal with this new pc is to never have to <mod edit> about lag, or long load times, or have to worry about game specs again haha. I also like to stream and edit in my free time so it needs to be able to do that as well. I'm also looking to buy new peripherals as well, so if you could include good options there I would be grateful.

Must have's:

My current rig is loud so a pc that will be quiet even while under a decent load.

I would prefer everything (fan color, case LEDs, Keyboard LEDs Mouse LEDs) be the same color and look like they belong together haha. I would prefer white and Blue colors or Red and black.

I want a self sustained water cooled system (as it's quieter with less hassel).

I would also like a 3 monitor setup and am open to any mounting configurations.

I don't know alot about good desks and chairs so reccommendations on those would be nice but not necessary.

My budget for the PC on its own no Peripherals is probably around $1800-2200. Though like with all things and like all people I would prefer to spend less if possible. My budget for peripherals and desks and monitors is about another $500-700.

BTW I don't need the biggest most expensive stuff, I want Great performance and to not have to worry about upgrading to be able to play new games, or being able to stream and play a game at the same time.

I know quite a bit about comps but I don't have the time or the knowledge to pick everything out on my own. Thanks to anyone who help me out.

Watch the language. - G

x) Let's make it even better... GTX 980 Ti JUST TODAY!!! WTF... But then a problem is the ability to conjure a custom cooler.

Not for a 3 monitor setup like you requested. Try getting 2 980s or even 2 Titan x if your lucky and can fit it in your budget but the Titans are $1000 so good luck with that. You could try to get a single Titan X but that would run games very well at high settings with 3 1080p monitors. You could get medium 2xMSAA with 3 monitors or you could save some money and only get one monitor and get a single AMD R9 295x2 for the highest settings possible on any game whilst getting 60FPS. The r9 295x2 is a little under $1150 and does a very good job but make sure you have a free radiator space in your system because it is a water cooled and air cooled beats of a card. I'd suggest installing the r9 295x2 opts the lowest PCI lane and installing it at the bottom of the case or install it at the highest PCI lane and install it at the rear mounting hole

3 GTX 970s would cost about $990... i7's $330, Asus Maximus 7 Hero is another $200, that's already $1590. I didn't even count RAM, SSD, HDD, a good case and PSU.

Spend the last bit of money on:

And other water cooling equipment, like drills, etc.

Thanks, Everything looks good, I just don't know much about setting up and running multiple gfx cards and hard drives. I have only ever had 1 at a time. Also the price on the CoolerMaster CM Storm Devastator Gaming Bundle seems too good to be true haha

Okay so first of all. You cant use triple 970's on a 750W PSU, and you also can't do triple SLI on that motherboard, and you most certainly do not need triple SLI 970's for 1080p gaming.......

And then for the SSD why would you choose the most unreliable SSD that bascially exists, and then send him a link to a keyboard and mouse that is in Austrailia for almost triple what it costs in the USA?

And then about the SLI Titan X's.. Like dude come on. You need two of the world's fastest GPUs and 12GB of VRAM to play @ 1080p? :ange:

Gosh dang it... It's around $2000 alone. My build involves a decent keyboard (for the price you're getting Cherry MX. What else are you going to want?!), a decent mice, and an average 2K monitor. All just below $2000.

And I didn't even catch that mistake, MasterDell!!!

What. Oh. In USD it should be below $2000 but I said nothing about 2 Titan Xs. Plus it's triple 1080p monitors. The Aussie website was just a store I just picked out randomly. The keyboard and mouse should be a bout 20 to 40 in USD. the SSD is also reliable I don't know why you said that. As Thor the motherboard I mixed it up with the Rampage V which is a 2011 socket... My mistake sorry. But the maximum VII does do dual graphics so maybe get rid of the third 970 and try to get the cheapest dual 980 for 3 1080p monitors or even if he wanted to upgrade to 1440p or 4K.

You didn't?

And as for the build, although completely and utterly overkill this is what I would reccomend: PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant

Allows you to overclock as much as you want with that cooler.

And if you want something a little less overkill but still very well performing:

Quote that I said "if your lucky". I was talking about sales and that you could get a discount the Titan Xs because they sold so well. My local store had a giant sale and sold them for $699 USD and basicly sold out in a week.

Why would a store sell something at 31% off of the MSRP of a product that was literally just released?

EDIT: and can you send a link to the people who said the Maximus VII HERO could do 3-way SLI?

These are the only motherboards that support 3-way SLI and the 4790k:

And note that the ASUS- Z87 WS will not work before a BIOS update, which may not even be available to support the 4790k.

Because it sold so well so then they ordered in more, sold it cheaper and sold out even more but then they raised the price to about $799 USD after though and then back to normal store price after the sale ended which was about a week.

Do you really need triple GTX 970 and a BD-R burner for a 1080P setup? :heink:

And you do also know that Z97 is not capable of triple SLI because it lacks the extra PCI lanes necessary, right?

Well first of all it's a triple monitor setup he wants so a single 970 won't cut it but he can still try to get 2 970s But that won't cut it for gaming so 3 970s should do pretty good with triple 1080p setup
