I'm wanting to get a gaming pc this summer and I'm not sure where to start. I'd like to spend less than $800 and I would like to be able to run gta 5 and spin tires smoothly at a decent fps. I will need everything and I don't know how to build my own pc. Thanks for any help.

This build includes full PC setup with monitor and mouse+keyboard.

Monitor - average, 24in, 5ms response time FullHD 1080p. VERY cheap and has a couple decent reviews, should be ok.

Mouse+keyboard - CoolerMaster is a trusted brand, simple no-frills gaming keyboard and mouse, should be fine!

PC itself: with the R9 280x GPU this should handle most games, including GTA V, at 1080p at decent FPS. Play around with graphics settings and everything on high-ultra will be fine for most games at the moment and the coming months.

You can get Windows 10 Preview for free, which is a perfectly capable OS and this saves you $100. I use it and it is awesome!

With all of this on your budget you should have an awesome first setup, good luck!

P.s. look at video tutorials, get people to help you - do whatever you can to build it yourself! It's fun and so so so much cheaper.

this is a great build.
I swear you can pick up OS for a lot cheaper? Like on G2A and websites of the like. It's riskier though

uhh, well it's ALOT riskier, and it would likely be a Russian or Croatian version that they have to sell dirt cheap because otherwise they people in the country would just pirate it. And it might as well be a pirated copy.

This is legitimate, and you can upgrade it to windows 10 in July with no worries.
