I want to move everything from my dell XPS 8700 into a new case: NZXT Noctis 450 Mid Tower Gaming Case (http://www.scan.co.uk/products/nzxt-ca-n450w-m1-noctis-450-black-red-mid-tower-case-w-window-4x-fans-included-8x-internal-35-25-dri), therefore i just wanted to know if I can basically take everything out my computer and put it in this new case, but i am still uncertain to what size motherboard i have. I tried to talk to dell but they were taking too long and i cant really call them at the moment. I know that i wont have a optical drive bay and i am willing to make the sacrifice

Thank you

Motherboard in Dell XPS 8700 is mATX (microATX). NZXt Noctis 450 Mid Tower Gaming Case supports ATX, mATX and ITX. That means it does...

assuming dell use a atx form factor it should I don't guess dell put one of them btx board in it ??

if the board is a standard atx design there should be no issue - no telling with dell

this guy says its a m-atx here so any case that supports a m-atx board should work ? [best answer]
