Newegg EVGA 980ti No Batman Code

My brother and I just each ordered EVGA 980ti's from Newegg.

I ordered the SC Reference one found here, and he ordered the SC ACX Cooler found here.

From what I understood, all 980ti's came with a code for Batman Arkham Knight. Mine showed the code added on my order details. However his card doesn't come with one it appears. Is this a mistake on Newegg's part or do only certain models come with it? I swear I've read about this happening before and he might just need to contact Newegg support but maybe I'm wrong and he doesn't get a code? Just wondering, as this is the first card I've gotten with a free game.

Some models don't come with a code, he should contact newegg and see if he gets a code, but maybe the model he bought doesn't come with the game.

The ACX 980ti is not advertised to have a free code to come in with it, therefore no code sadly.

Okay, I'll have him email/call newegg. TBH, he didn't notice there was no code included until after he ordered. And his order was instantly "packaging", meaning he couldn't cancel it anyways.

He mainly is glad he got the graphics card. I can always use steam sharing or w/e it's called to let him play my copy too I guess.

Steam share is a pain in the ass to use, Owner of the game can't be online in order to play the game.

Hmmm, perhaps I'll just give him my code if Newegg doesn't give him one, as I honestly don't care that much about it. Strange that a lower end/version of the card comes with a code but the ACX one doesn't.

GTX 980 references are expensive for a reason.

I'd say they want the reference cooler versions gone asap to make way for custom cooler versions such as the evga. And the game voucher is to help that along.

IF only we had paid more attention when ordering, but I guess this is what happens when one person stays up all night refreshing the newegg search page for 980ti and then orders at 4AM :lol:

As they say in the site "Valid only with the purchase of a qualifying EVGA product model listed below while supplies last and the product must be purchased from EVGA.com on or after June 1st, 2015." If the link is pointing to the right card "06G-P4-4995-KR" your brother should receive his code, so contact EVGA to find about it...
