BOOTMGR image is corrupt the system can not boot

I was able to get the PC to boot by removing a RAM stick. Any ideas as to how this could work and what causes this error message. ??

If the one RAM stick worked then the fault is the RAM. However the error does not fit a RAM issue. Try booting with the other RAM stick only.

Everything actually runs from Ram so this isnt really surprising, just unusual.
